Industrial Paper Shredder

An industrial paper shredder is designed for extremely heavy use. These machines are often capable of shredding upwards of 100 pages at a time. This type of shredder is considerably more expensive than the common office shredder.

A quality industrial paper shredder is usually constructed from heavy gauge steel. They often require 220V power in order to function properly. As these machines are often quite heavy, they often include a set of casters to facilitate easy movement.

An industrial paper shredder is often offered in two varieties: strip cut and cross cut. As previously mentioned, cross cut shredders are generally considered the more secure option. However, cross cut machines are more expensive, so it is not uncommon for strip cut shredders to be seen in large offices.
